Drug and Alcohol Screening Officer at;
• Mine sites
• Transport industry
• Aviation and maritime sites
• Security industry, i.e. armed guards, crowd controllers
• Workplaces where the need for drug screening has been identified as a Workplace Health and Safety requirement
This course is delivered by flexible delivery options, requiring completion of an E-Learning program and knowledge assessment practical component. Participants must complete 18 hours practical supervision by a person currently working in a collection role (within a 14 day period)
To complete the training program, the following assessment conditions must be met:
Option 1: The candidate’s work activities must be supervised by a person currently
working in a collection role for at least 18 hours in a fortnight time period: This option is ideal for those persons employed by a company which already has qualified persons on staff and appropriate facilities.
Option 2: Specialised Career Solutions provides this supervisory requirement with our
Drug Testing Division, “DTT Drug Test Technician” participants must attend two days (9
hours each).
